About this property

Welcome to Sagecliffe Resort and Spa

Sagecliffe Resort and Spa is an upscale resort hotel situated on a wine estate in Quincy, Washington, offering expansive views over the Columbia River Gorge. The property blends natural surroundings with modern comfort, featuring spacious rooms, an outdoor pool, and a spa. Guests can enjoy on-site dining at the restaurant, as well as take away options like pizza. A notable feature is The Fox & Quail Whisky Bar, providing a cozy spot for evening drinks.

Facilities include free Wi-Fi, free parking, air conditioning, a fitness center, a business center, and pet-friendly accommodations. While the resort offers a relaxing environment with amenities such as a smoke-free policy and accessibility features, some reviewers point out that food options may not fully satisfy vegan dietary needs. However, the spa and service have been highlighted positively in guest feedback.

Location-wise, the resort is close to popular local attractions like The Gorge Amphitheatre, a well-known 20,000-capacity concert venue, and a selection of wineries and outdoor recreational areas including the Wanapum Recreation Area. The setting is somewhat remote, with the nearest airports around an hour’s drive by car, which may appeal more to visitors seeking a quiet retreat rather than convenience.

The property also serves as an event venue and wedding location, offering scenic backdrops for special occasions. Guests looking for a getaway with a peaceful atmosphere, access to outdoor activities, and on-site amenities may find Sagecliffe a fitting choice, though it is advised to consider the remote location and food service based on personal preferences.

Nice enough place with great spa, nice views, nice service, but horrible food. Our visit for a corporate retreat was marred by wildfire smoke, so keep an eye on smoke forecasts. Location was pretty remote and a 5 hour drive from Portland, which wasn't my cup of tea but it's a feature of this resort. Rooms were very nice. Service was friendly. Spa treatments were terrific. Restaurant dues a poor job for those with vegan dietary requirements.

Every aspect of my stay was impeccable! Booking a last minute (literally the day before) reservation was made simple and smooth. Checking in, I noticed Sagecliffe stocks Acqua Panna water in glass bottles… hellooo that’s the quickest way to my heart! Upon check in, front desk attendant was so kind, quick, and informative— which is no shock at all because their manager Perla is the best in the biz. Perla offers Hyatt level service at this small town resort, which is wildly refreshing! Give that gem a RAISE so she never leaves!! Dinner reservations (on a busy Friday night), were simple, and I don’t even think there’s enough space in this review to go over the amazing service from Sarah, and Tristan! When our food came, all our previous conversations came to a halt and turned into constant discussion about how FREAKING DELICIOUS the food was!! Brooke should be on Food Network with those skills (but let’s also give her a nice big raise so she stays put at Tendrils). If you’re on the fence about what to order— just go with three full orders of the scallops— thank me later. Also love the aesthetic updates in the dining room! The sherpa added to the chairs were SO comfy! The next morning we had brunch on site at Tendrils. Once again, we were blown away by the quality of the food and the service by Sara & Cassi! We were lucky enough to run into Christie right before brunch and I think everyone knows she’s the crown jewel of that resort! Had to pop by the front desk again just to stock up on Acqua Pannas before we left, iykyk ;) and got to see Perla’s shining smile again before we had to leave. If you’re looking for a getaway that feels like you’re truly on vacation, don’t hesitate to book a room. 10/10 across the board!!!

We had some really good dinner date here. It was our second time to visit (anniversary). Our first time was during our honeymoon trip. The atmosphere was amazing! The sunset by the Colombia Gorge horizon was such a beautiful view. We had some cake (dessert) on the house to celebrate our anniversary. Remember to mention your special occasion, they will come through I forgot what we ate, but it was some nice steak ! Ooh, they have a swimming pool by the vines

I enjoyed a wonderful treat at Ridge Condo 8D and it was incredible. The views from the patio and couch were breathtaking, and being able to walk the vineyards right from the unit made the stay even more special. Even in winter, the gorge scenery and wildlife were unforgettable. What I loved: peaceful walking areas, immaculate accommodations, friendly staff, great parking, private views, cozy bedding, and an unforgettable dining experience. Only downside: the signage could be more visible, especially at night. Overall, a relaxing, memorable getaway with thoughtful details and outstanding food. I’d happily return.

Our stay at Sagecliffe Resort was unforgettable. The property is absolutely stunning — perched above the Columbia River Gorge with breathtaking views everywhere you look. The rooms were spacious, comfortable, and felt perfectly in tune with the natural surroundings. We loved how peaceful the setting was, yet still had so many amenities to enjoy. The pool and outdoor spaces were relaxing, and the on-site dining made it easy to enjoy great meals without leaving the resort. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall sense of calm and comfort. It’s the kind of place where you can truly unplug, take in the scenery, and feel recharged. We left already planning our next visit. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a special getaway in Washington.

The team at Sagecliffe is guest-focused and provided an excellent experience for our stay. The restaurant provided a high quality breakfast and outstanding desserts and the staff was fabulous. The views are breathtaking. The rooms are well-appointed and it was wonderfully quiet in the off season. The resort credit goes far, which was an unexpected treat. The only areas for improvement we encountered were an ADA unfriendly approach to the cavern rooms, non-functional remote control fireplace feature in our room, and the gym had 2 of 3 cardio machines out of service.

Beautiful place. Wonderful room. We got massages, which was expensive with 22% service fee, but we enjoyed it!! The restaurant was good for dinner but super expensive!
